I was born into a poor home having four siblings of which all are females and I'm the only male among them and eldest. I have endured a lot of hardships and have always overcome these by any good and readily means available. Example is working as a labourer in peoples farm to earn something to pay my school fees. I started my own business two year ago when I received my first salary. I would like my future children to be well to do in the society so that they can help the poor and needy in the society.
I am into livestock and now with pigs and want to add poultry into the business. Because of the Ebola virus in West Africa, the demand in Pork and poultry is very high. I work as a labourer in another farm to earn daily wages to support my own business. I use my earnings from the farm and my daily wages to support my family, pay for my school fees ,manage my own farm and also support the needy in my neighbourhood.
I would use the loan to purchase Day-old chicks, feed and other equipments to start with poultry in addition to the pigs I already have. I would then also employ a labourer to assist me in the poultry pen.
