About Me

Hello Zidisha community! My name is Evans Omondi, a 25 years old from Nairobi, Kenya. I am deeply passionate about creating positive change in my community, particularly in addressing basic needs and providing opportunities for individuals to earn a living and support their families. I believe that by empowering others, we can build a stronger, more resilient society. There is a project I started a few weeks ago. I want to expand it to reach out to more people, but I don't have enough cash to push it forward that's why I need your help.

My Business

Currently, I am employed, but my income is limited, which motivated me to start an online job connection page aimed at linking job seekers with relevant opportunities in the market. The page has gained traction on social media, and I am excited to introduce new features, including educational video content focused on self-employment.

These videos will provide strategic advice from professionals and encouragement from successful entrepreneurs. I have already spoken with several small business owners and financial advisors who are eager to participate in interviews once I am ready. This initiative will not only help job seekers explore different business ideas and how to start them but also offer essential professional support.

Additionally, I plan to visit local entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services, further benefiting my audience. As my platform grows, I aim to monetize through brand partnerships and YouTube once eligible. However, I currently lack the necessary funds to purchase essential equipment, such as a camera and tripod, to create high-quality videos. My phone's camera is not sufficient for this purpose. I would greatly appreciate your support in acquiring these items to help me make this vision a reality.

Project Proposal

I will buy equipments for my online tutorial programme that will help small businesses get education and advice from experts and also connect them with relevant customers to their products or services. It will be based on social media platforms like YouTube and Facebook.
The aim is to support and encourage young people to be productive in the society and be self reliant by venturing in different businesses.
I will be buying the equipments for videography one at a time as I increase my loan limit in this platform.
