Am Millicent Adjei Marfo 25 years old. I come from the eastern part of ghana a town called Kibi , the seat of the okyeman kingdom. I am the fifth child among the seven children and the last girls among three girls.
While growing , my parent mostly stay in the farm hut to have adequate time for the cocoa farm. There was no electricity .
Since the farm was very far from the community, we have to trek on foot Monday to friday for school and after closing you move straight into the farm either to gather cocoa pods or weed.
Every step along the way to school , carrying wet cocoa beans from long distance for fermentation, drying and selling the the cocoa shed were my motivation to study hard.
I completed JHS, went to SHS and completed as well.
My tertiary education could not see the light of day because I lost my Dad in my final year in shs.
My mom used to prepare soap from the dried cocoa pods, palm oil and some other ingredients that we used to bath. It cleared skin rashes we had and really made the skin looks good though we were staying in the farm.
I partnered my ,mom to produce local soap that can be used to wash called (azumah blox), which is able to take out stubborn stains.
We also produce this local soap that can clear skin infections like rashes, itching and ring worms on the scalp.
My phone was stolen and lost most of my customers contact.
I am not able to read my mails and respond.
I want to use this loan to buy a small android phone and use it temporarily for my business.
