About Me

My name is Saviour Siwale I come from Chibombo district in central province. Am a married man with two 3 children. As a young boy I grew up with my grandmother who raised me up and took me to school. I started primary school at Liteta Primary School and completed my grade 12 at Chibombo boarding secondary school. I obtained good school results and I was awarded a scholarship which earned a place at Kwame Kurume University in Kabwe town. I studied Agri-Business and am currently upgrading to bachelor's degree. Iam an entrepreneur and I have been in business for last 5 years now. Am determine to work hard and improve the lives of my family and children.

My Business

Am a farmer and am actively involved in growing of vegetables which is the main source of my income and revenue. I grow and I sale different types of vegetables such as, cabbages, onions, rape, tomatoes, spinach, green pepper and sweet potatoes. This business is the main source of income since I was a boy, grandmother gave me the inspiration and the motivation to focus on agriculture business, because out of agriculture business came some funds to pay for my education. Therefore, I have taken keen interest as well to develop this business so that I can realize the dream through this sector of business. Am looking at buy irrigation method of watering my crops and also the drip pipes because the project is growing and expanding it needs for financial support.

Project Proposal

Am applying for this loan to buy the following irrigation systems at my farm;
1. Drip irrigation
2. Sprinkler irrigation
3. Manual irrigation
4. Center pivot irrigation
5. Sub-irrigation
The irrigation systems will benefit me by increasing cabbage production due to high demand, am expecting to increase my production of cabbages from 1500 heads of cabbages to 3000 heads of cabbages which will be able to give me K 30,000.00 as profit increase.
