About Me

I am Wonder Frederick Satsi. I was born on 28th December 1971 at Ho in the Volta Region. I began my education at Kodzi E.P Primary School in the Volta Region ,Ghana.
After completion ,I proceeded to Keta Business Secondary School from 1988 to 1993 where I obtained the O'level certificate with distinction. I then attended Ada Teachers Training College from 1995 to 1998 where I trained as a professional teacher. At Ada Teachers Training College, I was the Sports Prefect and led the college to win many sporting awards. I taught for three years at Agbogbla E.P Primary School. From there, I went to Accra Polytechnic where I trained as Statistician. While at Accra Polytechnic,I was the National Financial Secretary for Volta Region Students Association of Ghana( VORSAG).
I then returned to the teaching field in 2004 and taught for four years at Samsam D.A Junior Secondary School, I was then the in-school guidance and counselling co-ordinator. l left again for further studies at the University of Cape Coast where upon completion was awarded a degree in guidance and counselling(Second Class Upper).
While pursuing my education,I was running my own business on the side; which comprised selling land, building materials and some agriculture input. Motivated by that interest, I registered my own company in 2009 named Dagahtsi Company Ltd.
I live at Medie located in the Ga Rural part of the Greater Region. Due to the fertile nature of the land and abundant rainfall most of the inhabitants are farmers. As a matter of fact, Medie produces one of the best pineapples in the world.
Ghana boosts of a rich culture which is embedded in food, drinks. ethnic groups, language, regalia, music, dance and folklore making it one of the unique countries on the African Continent.
I am a proud father of two lovely children. One aspires to become a president in future;always talking about creating his own republic like Dubai. And the other is determined to become a medical doctor so as to save lives.
Personally, I enjoy dancing, clapping, gospel and country music, story telling and travelling for sight-seeing. In fact, I am always bubbling with joy and enthusiasm for everything I do and that has won me the accolade the "THE HAPPYMAN".

My Business

Currently,I am still work as Counsellor, Co-ordinator, Supervisor and Faciliator with the Ghana Education Service but I run my own business under the registration name: Dagahtsi Company Limited.
The company is into sale of land and building materials. This choice of business is strategic in the sense that many people are purchasing land in the remote areas of Accra and developing properties due to congestion and the exorbitant rent prices in the city area.
Typically, the company makes a sale of GH 20,000 per month. After taking out the monthly expenditure of paying salaries, utility bills, logistics and other miscellaneous expenditure the company accrues a profit of 25% of total sales.
Out of the 25% profit margin, 15% is re-invested into the business, 5% goes into savings and the another 5% for running domestic affairs.

Loan Proposal

I would purchase with this loan roofing sheets to roof my three self-contained buildings located at Keta in the Volta Region of Ghana which would be rented out to nurses who have been facing accommodation problems in the area.
Each roofing sheet costs $6, so l would be able purchase 56 roofing sheets from this loan of approximately $338 in addition to 100 roofing sheets which I already have in store.
Once the rooms have been roofed and are ready,I would rent each out at $50 per month meaning $150 for the three apartments monthly. I would have first-time tenants pay for six months summing up to $900 and thereafter monthly. This would help ease the accommodation challenge of newly-posted nurses in the area aforementioned.
Besides, I would use the rent to offset my loans and further develop more buildings for rentals to nurses and other professionals in the area.
