I am a farmer:main crop is bananas,I rear daily cows and chickens for milk and eggs for sale.I sell milk and eggs in Karatina town,bananas are collected at the farm my traders.the farming has enabled me meet my daily needs plus educate my 2 sons.I make ksh25000 to sh30,000 a month.am looking for ways to expand my farming business in order to increase profit.I have decided to start banana ripening at the farm in order to diversify and maximise profit.
I am seeking for fund to buy an egg incubator that costs kshs 30000.I will top up the balance from my savings of ksh 8400 as am applying for ksh 21646.the incubator will be used to hatch eggs(about 200 chicks) in 21 days.I will be raising the chicks for 1 week and sell them at ksh 100 per chick.this way I be making a profit of ksh 10000 per month.
