Am a fourth born in a family of eight. Am raised by a single mother after she separated from my dad while we were still young. Life was tough as mum had to do odd jobs to fend the large family.
Education too was difficult cos school fees was scarce but mum struggled to have us through high school. My grades were not so good to enable me enroll for campus.
I later joined my elder sister in the city where I did menial jobs. I was able to enroll for a hairdressing and beauty course.
Am married and a mother of two pretty girls aged seven and four respectively. They are my pride.
After training for hairdressing course, I got got employed in various salons. This enabled me to polish up my training as well as get experience in the field.
I later quit employment and decided to open up my beauty parlor. Here I give services to women and children. This is a lady market as women will always have their hair done now and then.
The expenses are rent, electricity and water bill, licence, salary for one permanent employee.
However, the services we offer is enough to meet the above expenses and to do some savings to see me improve my home and children.
If the loan is advanced is to me I intended to buy new hair dryer for my salon worth 150$ and shampoos worth of 50$.
This will improve my business as am forced to use one old dryer which is too slow. I will therefore be able to serve a larger clientele within a shorter period thereby avoid loss of business.
This will give me a profit of up to 40$ monthly. I will employ one more employee thus creating employment and helping someone else feed his or her family.
This will also be of help as I intend to open up a beauty college in future.
