About Me

My name is Edwin Omondi, a businessman in Eldoret a place called Teleview, Kenya. I was born in a family of 4 where I am the 3 rd born.
My parents live in the rural area where they engage in small scale businesses.
I was bornand brought up in Rift Valley region and attended my school in Langas Primary and Secondary School respectively . I cleared my secondary education and later joined college for catering course.
I sell chips as a side business to supplement my income.

My Business

I have a chips outlet inthe centre where I sell chips to clients. I
source the potatoes from a local market every day and then prepare chips for school going children and people at large.

I then pack the chips into small polythene bags which are transparent before selling. The demand for my product is quite high as it is a fast food.

I get a monthly profit of an average of $ 125 us dollars though I face some challenges in my business especially when the prices of potatoes rise every time in the market. If given this credit from Zidisha, I would be able to buy a sack of potatoes that will ensure that my business will not be interrupted by lack of the commodity

Loan Proposal

I am always assured of continuous flow of clients.
The business is quite profitable and it sustains my family adequately.
However, to increase efficiency, I need to invest in adding stock of potatoes.
This way I will not be interrupted when the commodity is on demand.
I promise to put this money into my business and pay promptly.
