I am Victor Amuko aged 24 yrs. I am a graduate in journalism and mass communication from Masinde Muliro university of science and technology. currently i am jobless after two year of unfruitful search for employment.I am the first born in a family of four boys. my father works as a teacher and my mother as a farmer. i ventured into my writing job to earn an income fr my own sustenance as well as for my siblings. My younger brothers are students at Nairobi University, Mt. Kenya university and Mbale high school. i write articles such as research projects, proposals , SEO writing and press releases for my clients.
My Business
I decided to venture into the green field of academic writing business because of the demand of the genre and the availability of vast opportunities it avails.for the 3 months that i have been in business, i have established confidentiality with my clients ensuring continuous flow of work. the quality of my work ensures that i attract customers. When the writing season is at its peak,i get an average of KSH 30,000 a month,when at its low, i get an income of KSH. 15,000. my biggest expenditure is on internet because i use a modem which is very expensive. I spend about ksh. 9000 on internet per month. the major reason that i want this loan is to reduce this cost. i want to connect the internet from one of the internet providers at a cost of ksh. 12,000 and thereafter be paying a constant fee of KSH.2000 a month. this too will enable me utilize the extra computer that i have and hire one more person hence doubling my income. I will hence pay the loan comfortably.
Loan Proposal
I wish to apply a loan worth 150 US DOLLARS. I intend to use the stipulated amount to boost my professional writing business . i spend a lot of money in buying local daily data bundles,i intend to use the loan bring the internet right to my house and hence save on the cost that i accrue buying daily data bundles by half.
By having internet in my house, i will double up the revenue that i get from my writing and i will be able to hire one more staff to help me at my home hence creating a job opportunity. i will then save the extra money i gain and invest it in my poultry farming .
