My name is Sarah Otoo. 25 years old young woman. I completed JHS in 2006 but unfortunately couldn't further to SHS due to financial constraints. Indeed life wasn't easy hence I decided to learn a vocational skill for a living. My father is self employed. He is into brick casting. My mother is a petty trader. She also sells tomatoes, pepper, onion etc at the village market. My parent are very supportive but without financial backing. It was a dream come through when my church when my church started enrolling people into tailoring vocation. I got my sewing machine from my first Zidisha loan. I like reading although am a slow reader.
Am a young woman with my personal tailoring shop. I tool up the opportunity to enrol as a tailoring student at our Christian believers fellowship church. I make women dresses, shirts and blouses , bed covers and head veils. I provide sewing services to the community. I now get orders and sow because of my beautiful handwork. My problem is getting the materials ready at my shop. Way forward in my business is to stock my shop with materials for ready use. I always reinvest my profit back into the business.
Will buy the following materials for my tailoring shop:
Printex-120$
GTP- 120$
Kente- 120$
My customers will readily get materials to buy right at the shop. I will profit from the sales of the materials as well as the tailoring. Profit is expected to increase 20% from 70$ monthly to 84$.
