About Me

Hi everyone. My name is Charles Njimbasun Kpabu. I was born to Mr. and Mrs. Kpabu Chutal in a town called Tatale in the Northern Region of Ghana. I now live in Accra
As a child, attending school was a challenge to me as I was the only kid attending school among my peers in the neighborhood. The rest were all cowboys. I was always enticed to follow my peers to cattle rearing on my way to school. But my mother got to know about it from the way I come home late, dirty and tired. From that moment, she always pick me by hand to school every morning. Our neighborhood did not have electricity so learning in the evening was also a huge challenge as I compete for lantern.
But I made it to Junior High School and passed my final exams. There was no money for me to further my education that year so I ended up farming for my uncle before I was able to raise money for my Senior High school fees. After so much difficulties with my school fees, I completed that stage too with good grades in 2006.
I gained admission into Sunyani Technical University to pursue Higher National Diploma (HND) in marketing in 2009.
During this period, I was often sacked from lectures for nonpayment of fees. I had to work at construction sites in order to raise money for
my fees. I graduated in 2012.
It was in my last semester that I questioned myself what I Will do after school. so I considered number of businesses and finally settled on this current business-supply chain. So I saved some moneys from my National Service allowance and a little loan from a friend to kick-start the business.
Peace is very unique in Ghana. It promotes good business environment and attracts foreign investors. We also pride ourselves with Homowo festival celebrated by the people of Ga in Accra. During this festival period there is a banned on all noise making activities in communities dominated by Ga people.
My son would like to be a lawyer when he grows.
My unique pastime is during my National Service time when I met different guys from different backgrounds and cultures.
My hobby is swimming. Something that attracted much to abandon school and follow cowboys. I still swim in our beaches here in Accra.

My Business

I supply poultry feeds to companies and individuals. it's made from soya, groundnuts and coconut.
The poultry industry in Ghana is rapidly expanding as a results a demand for this product.
This feeds are also highly nutritious when well mixed and balanced.
I also moderate the price for my clients compared to other sources competitively.
I choose this business because it was the first business that I had conducted research on in terms source, price, transportation, overhead cost and clients availability when I was in school. so it was easy for me to start along that line of business.

The typical cost of this business is transportation, loading and offloading, taxes. The revenue is based on price per 50kg negotiated with the client considering all costs factors.
I mostly reinvest the profit I make into the business.
