My name is Bismark Owusu, I was raised in a town in the eastern region of Ghana called Suhum. I was born in the year 1988 and completed secondary school as my level of education. After schooling, I decided to start my own business and the aim was poultry farm but, due to financial problems, I started rearing snails for about five years before starting the poultry farm.
People here are respectful. The main occupation in my town is marketing. I really like learning so I used to do personal studies about agriculture.
I am rearing fowls (broilers). I used to order a hundred chicks according to the strength of my capital. The demand of my customers is higher than I have. I am the only person rearing where I am. I chose this business because there are several businesses ongoing at this place but I realized no one is taking part in the poultry farming. I want to increase the number of the birds from 100 to 200 due to the profit I earned earlier; thus is 110 dollars. Due to that, I will still need your support again.
My poultry farm is still ongoing by the help of zidisha. Am pleading to you again to grant me a new loan so that I can use it to buy feeds, vaccines, trough, feed box and other essential items to manage it well.
