About Me
I'm Mariam from Kenya Busia county mabale village ..I'm running a small village shop in the center of this village..selling household basics like cooking oil,soap,sugar,charcoal , cereals like green grams etc. I started with a capital of 2500 , on the verandah of the same shop before expanding and renting the shop.
My Business
I run a small shop in the center ..my startup income came from a Merry go round group that I was a member. The Merry go round is savings group which we also save and share out during the end of the year. We have a member ship of 12 members .every member saves a hundred shillings weekly while the Merry go round is 200 shillings per week given to one member .the a hundred is shared during closure end of year.
Project Proposal
The funds that I'm requesting Will be used to fund a poultry project . I have always wanted to keep poultry but I had no funds so I will channel the funds to poultry because there's ready market in the area and also it has good returns
