Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to buy a 60 eggs incubator machine worth 120 dollars. This will enable me to produce more birds giving the birds more time to lay eggs than to incubate, thus increasing the production. The rest of the cash will be used to buy feeds, layers feeds worth 50 dollar, and 50 dollars for the chick mash for the expected chicks. When birds increase I will employ more manpower to assist in the running of the project, thus creating employment opportunities to other people.

Can you make a payment on your loan Evans? What has happened with your business? Is it ongoing or have you had to change your working plans?

Please reduce your payment if you need to to keep up with your loan. As a lender I have 21 loans where the borrowers have not made payments, some for close to a year. This affects everyone. I cannot lend what I am not paid back. Making regular payments even small ones helps everyone have access to the funds they need to grow their businesses.

Hi Evans, Several of the borrowers in Kenya have said the election delay has greatly affected businesses. I hope your business picks up soon and that you can secure good food for your birds and sell out.

Hi Evans, Please contact [email protected] to reduce your repayment amount. Lenders would rather see very small payments rather than missed payments. We understand that businesses have their good as well as challenging times. Look into vermiculite {raising worms} for a renewable source of food for your birds. The worms eat paper, cardboard and vegetable scrapes. They are a high source of protein for bird food and are renewable and can be sold as another source of income. I hope you and your family are well. Mary
