i am the fifth born in a family of eight members born in a small village near nyamache kisii county.i have always been fancy about poultry rearing since i was young my grandparents used to give us a chicken once we visited them and this encouraged me to do chicken farming.
i started with around five chicken but the stock has grown to around twenty and i believe especially this dry season if i get enough capital to invest i will be able to make more profit as well as assists people when green vegetable s are rare with eggs.
i have one boy who has keen interest in farming too but he always talks of being an agricultural engineer.i always pastime in swimming.
the business has about twenty poultry or chicken which on average gives me about two thousand per month but i intend to increase the productivity thorough improvements on the housing structures as will as buy feed and vaccinations for the chicken.the money will be spent as follows
chicken feeds =4000kes
housing structures=1000kes
vaccines=1000kes
additional chicks=2000kes
the profits will be used to pay school fees for my son and others used to purchase more supplies.the business is very lucrative especially this dry season where availability of green vegetables is scarce.
the loan shall be used as follows
chicken feeds=4000kes
housing structures=1000kes
vaccines=1000kes
chicks=2000kes
the loan will help me increase the number of poultry in the farm and therefore make me able to supply enough eggs in the market for other especially this dry season when demand is very high.
the profit will around 20% of the investment capital and is expected to grow at 10% semi-annually.
