Am 54 working with machakos county government as an internal auditor . Doing privately poultry farming. Started doing poultry in 2017 and so far doing very well. Am keeping improved local breed which has high demand in the local Hotels.

My Business

Am currently doing poultry with about 300 chicks -Rooster breed and supply to major hotels in my County of Machakos. currently looking for finance to purchase vacines . This is a very profitable venture and with ready market.This is a popula breed of chicken and very easy to manage and can scavage for like the local breed and can grow upto 6KG each going at 1,000/=. Their meat is also sweet and good layers as they can lay 21 eggs per month each going at 30/=.Am Planining to purchase a hatching machine in the long run as the local chicks go at 100/= per chick which is a good businesss

    In my area chicken are doing very well due to a favourable climate and minimal disease outbreaks.
    am expecting to sell over 300 chicken in the next two months each at 1000/=.

    Have managed to sell 50 one month old chicks @500/= raising 25000/= and now ordered for 100 one day old chicks @100= per chick.
