I am Linda Owusu Takyiwaa from Berekum and live in Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I am a lady of 34 years old, fair in complexion and about 4.5 feet tall. I had my basic school education at Voice of Deliverance Primary and JHS. I continued from there to Mfantsiman Girls’ Senior High School and completed in the year 2006. I went on to pursue degree in education at the Valley View University. I am currently single and a business woman as well. My hobbies are reading story books and watching soccer whenever I am less busy.
I am a business woman who deals in plastics containers as well as kitchen equipment such as cooking utensils storage bowls, plates, cups, cutlery sets etc. I have been into this business for the past twelve (12) years and it is very lucrative. I opted for this business due to the high demand for it; one cannot live without these basic necessity. You definitely need it in the house for your cooking and serving of meal, many of the people also use these plastic containers to store water for house use.
Furthermore, I have been supplying cutlery sets and plates to most of the schools in my vicinity. This includes the Basic schools, Senior High School and the Tertiary as well and because there are numerous schools here, business is always at its peak. I have employed two store attendants who always assist me at the shop.
Repayment of loan
I earn greatly from this business and I am going to pay back my loan from the profit I acquire from the sale of my products. Thank you.
This long when funded will help me to meet my order request from two of my clients, thus senior high schools in my town. They have made requests for plates, cups, cutlery sets for the new first year students who just got admitted into the schools. Also they have requested for big water storage containers because their population has increased. I will use Gh¢6000 to purchase the plates, cups and cutlery sets. Use Gh¢2000 for the containers and use the remaining amount to pay for the transportation of the items when purchased to their destinations. I expect this transaction to increase my profit margin by 32% if the supplies are made on time and pat of the profit will be used to cater for my brother's books at the medical school.
