My is Martin Otieno I live in Kitale Trans-nzoia county. I was brought up in Kisumu, Nyanza region. I am the first born in a family of 2 siblings. My parents died in a road accident when I was only five years and so my brother and I were left as orphans. My uncle took care of us, so we moved from Kisumu to Kitale.
I managed to finish my primary and secondary education and I passed very well. I could not join college because my uncle had his own children who were still schooling. By Gods grace well wishers and neighbors did a fundraising and I went to college where I studied electrical and electronics studying part time, during the other time I worked as a cleaner in a supermarket in Kitale town where the little salary I got I used to pay fees for my younger brother, and save for my studies. In college I attained a diploma in electrical and electronics. After graduating from college I was promoted from a cleaner to a sales representative in electrical and electronic department. I later started my own business of electronics repair.
My hobbies are traveling, socializing, listening to music and reading.
My business is located along Kitale, Kapenguria highway next to Kapenguria bus station. It deals with electronics repair such as television, mobile phones, and radios. The business is ideal because this location is populated and there is no competition. Having necessary knowledge in this business am able to handle different kinds of customers. I get $300 every month, I use the profit to pay electricity bill, rent, re-invest and pay fees for my brother.
My dream and aim is to expand this business to different parts of the town.
I'm very happy to have finished paying the previous loan u sent to me.I thank u my lenders for giving me an opportunity to grow my business and develop financially discipline and planning. The loan that I will get, I will use to increase my stock and introduce new items such like new handsets and cellphone power banks in my shop.I will buy 20 cellphone power banks each @ $4 and sell each @ $7.Which means I will get a profit of $3 from each. The remaining balance I will invest on new handsets, I, will buy 10 handsets from $10-$12 per handset and will make a profit of $5-$7 per handset.Which means the profit for the power banks will be $60 and that of handset will be $50-$70.Then I will use the remaining amount to add more spare parts such like diodes,ICs,capasitors, resistors e.t.c. This will give me a 90% profit.I'm confident this is possible.Thanks.
