Hello, to every one out there, Helena Sackey is my name, from Ghana (Kumasi). I am a mother of twins, Eric and Erica by name. Am a seamstress for 4years by profession, I know how to sow both Male and Female clothes. I have been working in my Boss shop for work and pay. But now I don't want to work for him any more, I have been able to save to buy one sewing machine. I want to open my own shop and buy other machines like overlock, neating, jolome making and some fabrics Material and sell in the shop.
Growing up, I read a lot of fashion magazines and often like to create different outfits. When I was in high school, I started creating clothes that I eventually wore myself. At this point in time, I knew I wanted to make a career of it. While I enjoyed other hobbies at this age, nothing piqued my interest as much as fashion design, nor did anything else let me explore my creativity to the same extent."
Life has not been easy for me now adays, I find it difficult to pay for rent, school fees for my kids and other house activity.
I love to help my community, especially the little ones to train them into fashion, when I get my own shop and machines.
GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY IS MY GREATEST PLEASURE.
I love to sow any fabric that I lay my hands on, and with these businesses I make at least $54 a week depending on how the customers are coming. I know I can make more than that if I get a shop and apprentice to speed my work. I
I need the fund to add up to my money to buy as sewing machine.
