About Me

I was born in 1976 in a remote village called Lugango in kakamega East District of Kakamega County Western Kenya.
I went to primary school in the same village and thereafter went to Secondary school in the neighboring Kakameaga North district called Malava boys high school where i passed my Kenya Certificate for Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations with a mean grade C+Plus.
I then joined The Kenya polytechnic where a studied photography and audio-visual and acquired a certificate in the same. Currently i' am doing a course in business management.
Ever since i have been doing photography as a business combined with farming for which i don't have the required equipment ie Good cameras, lighting,zoom lenses etc. That's why i' am joining zidisha for financial support so that i can buy these items and also those that are needed for farming.

My Business

I started my photography and farming business 10 years ago in Kakamega town and its environs. I love my business, and although there is a lot of competition, I keep my customers happy by giving them what they want.Good photos in different occasions. This business is good because you everyone wants there important occasions recorded for future reference and remembrance. The business helps me support my family financially in terms of basic needs and education. I strongly believe that if given this loan i will be able to make big strides in my business prospective and make profits that will enable me to assist other people in the community especially those that are disadvantaged in one way or another.

Loan Proposal

I will buy a new battery pack for my camera. My camera has got only one battery pack that actually goes off in the middle of an occasion which is so embarrassing and makes my customers annoyed for not covering the whole occasion. this leads me into loosing more money for having incomplete work. But when i get this loan i will acquire a new battery pack which will enable me work for long hours without having to recharge my battery again. This will go a long way in helping me concentrate on my work and come out with quality work.
