I am humble businessman having been brought up from a humble background. I never lacked basic food, but clothing and education was a challenge. am the first born in a family of four.I have college Diploma education in Computer Engineering .This actually forms the backbone of my business because I can maintain most of my computers and photocopy machines therefore lowering business operational costs. my younger siblings have had the privilege of securing secondary education through me.Recently after securing business loan from Zidisha I was able to enrol my wife in fashion design course where she has graduated and having bought her a sewing machine ,she is ready to start her business and help in boosting family income.
My main business is simply technology, computer sales and repair, internet distribution small scale, cyber business, photocopying, phone sales and stationery. I bought a piece of land from extra income and this is where I intend to build my residence and family shop. This move is a bit costly but worthy in the long run.
The intended loan is to enable me acquire new and cheaper mobile phones for my clients.M-pesa has changed the way business operates as it is a secure mode of payment and thus the need to own mobile phones and easier communication. Each new phone will cost between 15 and 20 dollars .this will enable purchase about 20 pieces into my stock additional phones which will be retailing between 2000-2700 kenya shillings,it is a worthy venture.
