My name is Evans Miriti I was born in Tharaka Nithi County in the year 1982. I am the third born in a family of three children our first born is a teacher at nearby primary school called Muraga primary, the second born is a business lady. My parents are tea farmers as well as dairy farming. I was bought up in Tharaka Nithi County but I moved to Nakuru Town the year 2006, where I live to date in Langalanga Estate. I am a business man and I hope I will live to be one.
I started my schooling at Muraga primary school the year 1989, until I did my K.C.P.E in 1998, I did well and proceed to Ikuu boys’ high school of which I did my S.C.S.E in 2002 and I got C- (minus)
My journey to business world was hectic one, I started selling handkerchiefs the year 2006 in Nakuru Town, and we used to live four guys in a single room. In the year 2008 I stopped selling handkerchiefs and started selling second hand shoes using the savings I had saved plus a loan I borrowed from my aunt. My business have grown since I have a shoe in Nakuru town the earning that I earn has helped me buy a motorcycle –KMCU 75K, I also have a rabbit rearing business which seems to be promising.
If granted the Zidisha loan am very sure I will pay the loan with the money I get from my motorbike which I have hired someone to operate. There is a great demand for my service especially the motorbike business due to its convenience speed, time saving and also pocket friendly to the customers.
This business is profitable since there is always customer in hand, the maintenance also does not need much money. It also uses little fuel making it more profitable.
My business forces, some risks one of item is theft, secondly the police harassment, but I have decided to stick to it since there is no business without risks. My monthly (cost are 1,200/=, revenue 7,800) profit 6,600/=.
I will use the loan to invest in my motorbike business which I do and also I have hired 2 people to do the business, I will use the small funds I get from the 2 motorbikes to save and get another motorbike and expand the business, I will use the funds to try get another motorbike to be a total of 3 motorbikes, I get a revenue of 600ksh daily for the two, that's means per week I earn 4,200ksh in a month I make a profit f ksh16,800 and On this i am very comfortable in paying the zidisha loan with no problem.
I hope the lenders will grant me this opportunity.
