I am a single mother relying on my day job and and shoe business to get by. I was in shock when, at 18, I discovered that I was pregnant and with no support from the person responsible. Through years of hard work and sacrifice, I am now looking into buying and selling 'mitumba' ladies tops. I want to sell ladies tops because I tried for 3 months now and it has been giving me great returns. This will enable me to support my son financially.
My determination as a mother, to provide for my son made me who I am today. My son has been a tremendous support for me throughout the years. I believe this business will help me cater for my son's education.
I have been selling ladies tops for 3 months now, although I don't have a shop. I sell to my closest friends, family and use referrals from my clients.
I buy tops at KSH. 100 and sell at KSH. 200 or KSH. 250 depending on the quality of the material the top is made from and the design. From my business, i make 100% profit from each top I sell. But now, I would like funding to enable me get more stock. The profits I make help me with the paying for my son's education and upkeep.
Based on the previous sales I made from the loan given, I was able to add more shoes to shoes stock and noticed that the sales had started shooting up with the expansion rate of references from my family and friends. This has led to a high demand from ladies for more shoes, like sandals, yet I barely have enough stock since I just integrated the shoe business into my clothing sales business.
This loan will enable me add more stock to my shoe business, i.e., get 10 pairs of secondhand ladies shoes buying @KES400 and selling @KES1000 making at least 100% profit. The higher sales and returns will enable me to remain in good standing with Zidisha and grow my business as well.
I will highly appreciate your continued support to enable me grow and develop. Thank you and God bless.
