About Me

I am Nicholas Simwa, I am the 5th born in a family of 9 children . I was raised by my mum alone after my father passed away when I was only 10years old . I schooled at Lusumu primary school and later went to mukumu boys under scholarship where I did my O-levels. I successfully completed O-levels but then did not have money to proceed to the next level.
I opted for small scale business because I did not have any source of income.starting a business was not easy as I had no experience and capital. i worked as a shop keeper for a rich neighbor for one year, gained experience and save $150. I bought stock of torches, solar lamps and solar bulbs ,Worthy $140. I did not have a shop to wait for customers in and so I had to go look for the customers in their homes. I was amazed buy the high number of sales per day. I now run a shop and has employed to young ladies to help me with marketing and sales.
I have two children,Mildred and Esther who are twins. They are 2 years old and are my bundle of joy. I love them so much and always does everything within my means to make them happy.I live with my orphaned nephew who wants to be a nurse. I take him as my child and provide for him always to make him fill comfortable and loved.
I love soccer .I do play soccer with my peers during my free time. I am also a youth leader and would always hold sessions with youth to discuss problems affecting youth.

My Business

I sale environment friendly solar lighting equipments like torches, lamps, and small solar panels. These goods are on high demand due to need for alternative cheap lighting equipments and high costs of fuel. most families are now adopting solar as a better option.
I choose these business after attending Youth environment conservation programme and find it important to conserve the environment. It is also profitable .
My weekly typical costs are $200 and my weekly revenues are $290.
I use my profits to look after my family, pay fees for my nephew, and support my sisters and brothers education. Thank you for reading my profile.

Loan Proposal

I hope all is well and you are doing fine.I run medium enterprise that deals with solar energy solutions. I am happy because it gives me a decent living and helps thousands of school children to study at night cheaply without straining to much. I would wish to borrow $100 to add 10 more lamps to meet my high demand for the lighting equipments. Thank you in advance.
