My name is Nancy Saenyi. I was born in western side of Kenya. I am a single mother of 1 girl who is three years old. I was born in a farming community where every family in the area tend their small parcels of land.
I went to primary and later joined secondary school for four years. I later left home to live with my aunt in a distant town of Mombasa. While in Mombasa I enrolled to a short computer applications course. I later started doing a diploma course in Business Administration which I am still doing.
My daughter would like to become a teacher when she grows up. My hobbies are reading and traveling.
I sell clothes and ladies accessories as a side business so as to give me some income while still schooling. This business gives me about $150 per month which I use for my upkeep and send some small amount home to my parents who live with my daughter.
I sell these items from door to door and with time I have established a reliable clientele and I am hoping to build on this group to keep growing. I am planning to continue doing this business in a bigger way once I clear my studies in a few months to come.
This loan just like the previous one will be used to buy more stock of clothes. This is important since the festive season is approaching and sales are normally very good around this time.
I intend to buy ladies blouses - about 20 pieces and I already have the buyers in mind and so selling them will be easy. I will use the profit realized to expand my business by having more variety. This will lead to improved revenue and better life for me.
Thanks.
