my name is Samuel Kiarie born and bred in Nairobi to a retied army officer and small scale farmer mother, am the first born son in a family of four, three girls and one boy, am married and have one daughter. i attended Kenyatta university primary school and later joined Baricho high school for my secondary education, i joined Parapet college and trained as a housekeeper but i have not secured formal employment and currently am engaged in selling secondhand shoes and would like to expand my business but am constrained by lack of finances due to the bureaucratic process of getting finance in Kenya
Am a small scale trader where am engaged in the business of selling secondhand shoes mainly ladies shoes, my business is located in Kiwanja shopping center and my clients are mostly university students, these second hand shoes i normally source from Gikomba market which is the biggest market in east and central Africa and currently i buy the shoes from traders who buy bales and sell to small scale traders like me but i would like to buy my own bale in order to increase my profit margin and offer employment to others
I intend to use the loan to increase my stock by buying a bale of shoes which has more shoes and i will get a discount because of buying in bulk hence increase my profit and satisfy my clients with a wide variety to choose from. Currently i need 15000 shillings and if the proposal is successful i will be able to save more and be able to repay the loan.
