About Me

My name is Mourice Odhiambo. I'm 26 years old and a second born in a family of 6. Growing up was not so easy for me because I had to sacrifice a lot for my younger siblings. As a young man I loved listening to music especially hip-hop, and I knew that I would one day become a Dj in Kenya.
After clearing my High School education I couldn't further my studies because I had to let my parents take care of the younger ones. So I did small jobs and raised small cash to buy a small Dj machine and a laptop. I started to train myself with the help of a friend who is a Dj and finally I became good and now I get invites to perform in events and clubs.
The income I get I use it for my upkeep. save a little for college and help my parents to pay school fees for my siblings.

My Business

My Business is not doing so bad but I need to invest more in better machines and sound systems to provide my customers with the best. Every weekend I get called to perform in weddings, corporate events, birthdays and parties but at times I'm limited because I don't have all the best machines to Dj with.
In future, I'm planning on starting an entertainment company where I get to provide Dj services, MC services, hiring my sound systems and open a Dj and music Academy.

The longest journey starts with a stride and this is just a beginning for me. I'm willing to learn so that i can be the best in what I do.

Loan Proposal

With this loan I'll buy a good pioneer Djing mixer that costs about $600. This will make me give my clients the best sound in their events.

Most of my clients have been complaining about the sound quality of my old equipments therefore making them pay less. With this new mixer, they will have no reason to complain about my charges. I'm expecting my profit to increase by 20%.
