My names are Fridah Mwandoe , I am the first born among a family of five, I have got two brothers, mum and dad. We are a christian family residing in Kibarani just behind the Deaf secondary school at Kibarani. The main economic activity undertaken is rearing of dairy cows for milk production. Sold out to sustain family needs, but due to increased financial requirement for veterinary and cow feeds the funds obtained are inefficient to support this activity to enable increased milk production. I completed my studies in environmental science at Pwani university here in Kilifi county.
I have a business of selling milk, which I have been running for three years. The product is doing well as I get a net profit of more than three hundred shillings a day. My customers are the teachers from Kibarani for the deaf primary and secondary school and the nearby hotels around my home. If I get this loan I will be in a position to increase the amount of food for my cows and better pay the person who takes care of my cows, so that he can get the moral boost to continue doing this job of mine. I will also use this money to market my business to the big hotels or tourists hotels in the area, whereby they can buy my product at a reasonable price.
Thank you so much for this chance. I will use this loan to buy a milking machine which will cost me USD 250 and the rest of the amount will be spent in marketing.
I have four cows which produce more than two hundred liters a day. Being able to pay someone to assist me and to buy the machine will put me in a better position.
The remaining of the amount will be used to do marketing, especially this month of November and holidays as the hotels have more tourists.
