my name is Christine Okuku,I was born and raised in kakamega Kenya . I went to to Mukumu primary school were I sat for My KCPE and then procceded TO Bishop Sulmet Kakamega for secondary education. I then Joined Eregi TTC for a cos In early childhood education.
I tried looking for a job with the goverment but I was not lucky to find any. Being caring and loving for children. I decided to start a home care in my house to help busy mothers take care of their children. At first the business was not doing well due to lack of customers. I decided to market my business through posters and social media and I started getting more business . I currently Admit children below 3 years to my child care. Parents drop them to my child care center in the morning and pick them in the evening.
Children are sometimes difficult to deal with as some cry to much. But I understand child psychology and always make them to enjoy the environment by playing around ,with them, laughing, playing soft music, giving them toys etc.
I spend most of my time in my child care center and playing with children. During my weekends I vist children and the elderly in their homes. I also take time to visit the street children and share meal and cloths with them.
I offer service which is child care. Parents drop the children in the moprning and pick them in the evening. Each child has a packed lunch and I would always feed them when hungry. I currently accept only 20 kids at a time even though sometimes I get very high numbers and have to turn down some parents, because I need to get a number I can handle with care and close observation.
I choose these business because Most mothers in my neighborhood are working class and have to go work. since house helps could not take good care of children and are expensive mothers prefer my services which are relatively cheap.
My monthly costs are average $100 for rent ,water and electricity and my montly revenues is $300.
I use the money to support my aging parents, buy my basic needs and take care of sibling school fees.
Hello sir/madam
I am writting to kindly request you to lend me $150 so that I can buy a microwave that I would use for warming childrens food. I run a day care business and parents come along with packed food for the children . However when the food gets cold I can not warm them because of lack of means . I have therefore advised parents to keep the food in warm containers but occasionally the food gets cold and I have to ask a neighbour to help me warm the food . The microwave will cost me KES 11000 and I would add $KES 5000 to the loan to make my dream com true. The microwave will help me better my services and have happy children always. Thank you
