my names are violet Makokha , I was raised by a single mum after dad abandoned us. Life was difficult since mum had no source of income. I manged to score good grades in my local primary school and got sponsorship to study in Kenya high school one of the best schools in Kenya. I later joined Kenya medical training school for diploma in pharmacy and completed successfully.
I got a job with an NGO but the job lasted only 12months and my contract was not renewed because of lack of funds. with my savings I decided to open a pharmacy in my rural area because people had to walk long distances to get drugs in town. the chemist is doing well and I am planning to open a second branch.
i live in rural area and most of the people hear are poor and can not afford good health care ,I am happy my chemist has saved lives.
i love children and spend my free time playing with kids, training them how to sing and reading novels .
I sell drugs in my pharmacy and the demand for the goods is high because it is the only chemist around. drugs are useful in any community for they heal as and protect us against deadly diseases when not abused.
i choose these business because I am a trained pharmacist and because of the desire to help others.
my monthly typical costs are $450 and my monthly revenues are $690 per month.
i use my money to support my mother and take care of my utility bills as well as save for business expansion.
since malaria is the most common disease here most patients would always come for malaria drugs once they have malaria symptoms, i had a hired microscope to test these before selling drugs but the owner took it last week . I urgently need one. The microscope costs $350 and I have $280 on saving, I would use the loan to top and get it asap.thank you
