About Me

Having trained as a psychologist I decided to start up a counselling center to help people deal with their mental health issues. In Kenya there are few counselling centers and the few that are there are very expensive on the side of the client. Since counselling cuts across my services are geared towards helping, students in learning institutions, families, work place, teenagers and individuals with psychological difficulties. The center is called Mentalcare Counseling Center.
Mentalcare Counseling Center is a multi-disciplinary consultancy, counselling and training firm. Our team is specialized in providing technical assistance to NGOs, government agencies and private business companies.
We specialize in helping organizations to develop strategies for their peoples’ engagement and their development, to meet organizational, team and individual needs, growth and development, both socially, economically and psychologically.
We deliver a range of management leadership programs to suite all sectors and size of organization. We hold our clients’ interest paramount. We provide our services best on professionalism allowing us to give our clients the best service possible on-site

We provide flexible end-to-end services that assist individuals, groups and Every human being is mentally disturbed with either major or minor mental challenges, could be family crisis that could cause stress, natural disasters causing trauma, workplace stress, all these needs psychological healing so as to have a healthy and functional human beings.

Traditionally counselling has been taken by communities as an aspect of the undisciplined individuals, or for people who have lost their beloved ones organizations to meet their mental health needs by giving the best possible service at an affordable fee to realize the highest functionality and production. I have seen this helping many people on daily basis.

My Business

Since it is a counselling and training center, we raise our income from our clients as service fee.Our services are offered to meet the needs of our clients. The following services are offered at our centre:

Psychotherapy
We offer counseling services to our clients as the need might rise. We provide our services as follows:
• Loss and grief counselling
• Child therapy
• Group counselling
• Trauma, stress, depression and anxiety disorders
• Personality disorders
• Rape and sexual assaults
• Psycho-sexual therapy (sexual disorders/disfunctionality)
• Workplace counseling (EAP)
These sessions are designed to suite the group; these could be employees, children, and parents, students to help walk through workplace, family, social and personal challenges that impair their ability to fully function.

We charge KSH. 500 for consultation while KSH. 1500 for every counselling session. The proceeds from business is used to expand the business, transport

Loan Proposal

The cash raised from this loan shall be used to buy paint at $ 3 and some pictures at $2 which are related to counselling, and paint the clients' room to look more attractive. since in counselling, clients' rooms must be attractive, this will hell help the client feel comfortable and appreciated, and will help the client focus more on his or her issues. This will make the counselling session to be more comfortable. It will increase the clientele
