I was born on 27/9/1983. I went to Minors primary school then I joined Nkubu High school. After my school I Kenya Methodist University main campus situated in Meru county where I did my clinical medicine, surgery and community health. My main challenge was the school fees which I overcame through harambee and being employed as a part-time untrained teacher and as doing Hawking job to make ends meet. I managed to set up my clinic in Chuka Town by raising funds from friends, bank loans, graduation gifts from relatives and savings.
I operate a medical clinic at Chuka town. I offer curative, preventive, family planning and laboratory services. I get about Ksh 120,000 per month deduct expenses am left with about Ksh 28000 as a profit. That business and my monthly salary from my regular job are my main source of income. I have employed three people that is a community worker, pharmacist and a security guard.
I intend to add the amount I will get to what I have. By doing so I will be able to buy drugs like ceftriaxone injection ($20), benzyl penicillin ($12), cough syrups ($25), painkillers ($30) and some laboratory reagents and test kits($200). With those I will be able to increase my profit and also in the process attract more clients. For my clients the will have most of their medical needs met. My profit will increase by approximately about 3.5% in comparison to last month profit.
