I was born in Nyeri county in a family of
6 children, I went to nyeri primary
school then went to Nyeri high school
in kiambu, life was very tough, i now live in
limuru
My future dream is to expand my business
to be able to be a supplier within my
community and in Nairobi.
I fry and sell chips(french fries) and mandazi I
started this business in 1996 with only chips,
then added mandazi. I was the first person to
start this business where i stay, i saw a need
and took advantage of it. My biggest
challenge is the shifting prices of potatoes in
the market. My customers are people within
my community. In future i want my business
to grow and be able to employ more people
within my community. I am proud of
everything about my business.
I will purchase baking flour, sugar, salt,
charcoal, bananas, watermelon, two sacks of
potatoes and salad oil. that will increase my profits and also create jobs
