About Me

My name is Japheth Kimutai I am 25 year old I was born in uasin gishu county, turbo constituency kamagut location and leseru sab location. I studied at kamagut primary school and later joined kapsabet boys for my high school studies,I performed well and joined the university of eldoret to study business administration. During my study at the university I was inspired by a friend to start a business of my own, I had a capital of one thousand five hundred shillings only so I thought and saw it was nyc to start selling second hand cloths and unique in the area since many people sells new cloths.I love my business so much and my siblings too are inspired to own theirs too in future. My hobbies is playing basket ball, reading inspirational books and trying new ideas.

My Business

My business name is Da Prince holdings, it is a young business that is growing rapidly. The business is about selling second hand cloths known as 'mitumba' in Swahili, the business started about one and half years ago with a capital of about two thousand two hundred shillings, the business runs on a weekly stock which I buy them from a big market situated in eldoret town. Every Friday morning I wake up and go to the market which I select the best cloths at a cheaper price for example men's shirts, T-shirt, and some for ladies. After buying them I take them home for washing ironing before taking them to my customers and after three to four days the stock will be sold all of it at a double price which leaves me with more money to add my stock weekly and have some profit to sustain myself at the university. The business is moving on well that's why I am requesting for ur support in expanding my business bigger, I would like also to add some new stuff like shoes and trench coats since many of my customers are asking about them many times

Loan Proposal

I will add my stock and expand my business with the goods my customers asks most of the time for example trench coats and blasers this will enable maximum profit after the sell since the products I sell are of the latest fashion and of best quality. Also I will double my normal stock since it is still a small business.

How long does it take to be funded after completing everything

    • Geoffrey    Feb 3, 2015

After your loan is published the way have done different lenders will fund your loan after going through your profile and these is usually given 14 days from the day of application .If within the 14 days it will be fully funded ,the zidisha community will give you an option of accepting the loan the their after it will be disbursed to your safaricom line in less than a week. But in case within the 14 days it is not funded the period will expire and you will be forced to do application again

Dear Japheth Your Photo Quality is one of the most important criteria to get funding, because the photo quality is what attracts potential lenders to click on your profile. We do not feature any profiles with poor photo quality, even if the repayment record and writing in the profile is very good. We are likely to feature your application if your photo meets these three criteria:

Describes your business or area of investment. For example, if you have a store, take a photo of yourself in your store. If you are raising a loan for school tuition, you may choose a photo of yourself at a desk studying.
Shows your face clearly. Make sure the photo is not too far away or too dark.
Shows you smiling. Your loan application is much more likely to be funded if you smile, because lenders tend to be drawn first to smiling photos.
Otherwise I wish you all the best
