I am Sampson Badu, I was born to Stephen Owusu and Ansuaa Amankwaa all of Kukuom in the Brong Ahafo Region Of my beloved country Ghana On 10th September, 1996, I entered Kukuom Methodist Junior High School. I was born in a family of five, three girls and two boys including myself .
I did Business Management in my Senior High School Course. so I develop interest in opening up my own business. Unfortunately for my dad was laid off from his work a year to my completion of SHS. I started selling cloths as a means of survival and the payment of my fees.
So bit by bit, I completed SHS. I needed my siblings to also have assess education so I suspended any other studies to concentrate fully on my cloth selling business. I fed the family with the profit I get from the business. The people in my community are friendly, supportive and caring.
I have one child, a boy and it is my wish for this boy to become a Lawyer, because we don’t have a family lawyer. When I’m not doing anything, I normally relax by playing music.
I started my business about two years ago when I completed my Senior High School education. Initially, I didn't have a start up capital so I was encouraged by my friends to use the little money I had to begin. To them, heavens help those who help themselves. I started selling at the road side together with a family friend who was older than me. In cause of the business, I met a man who offered me a job to work for him in his clothing business. A year later, I had enough money to start my own business. I get enough profit which I use some in paying the school fees for my siblings, paying for my father’s medical expenses and several others.
My business is doing well now. Thanks to my lenders and zidisha. I want to include the sales of children's clothing into my business. This will make the demand for clothings high. I am sure of high returns. Thank you
