My name is Erica Gyamfuaa.I am the only child of my parents. I started school at Our Lady of Apostles [OLA] at Kenyase in the Brong Ahafo Regoin and completed in 2006.
I was told my father rejected the pregnancy because he was then a student at the training college. My father came back to beg my mother but my grandparents denied him because of the shame he brought to the family. My mother is now old and not all that healthy, so I entered some petty trade. The people in my community are caring, supportive and friendly so Is given money by a friend to start a petty trade.I like reading when I am not doing anything. I have 2 children and they are all girls.
I started the business with three hundred and fifty dollars and this money was given to me by friends whom I entered fellowship with.
The money was given to me as a loan. I used the money to bake bread and sell them. The reasons for this business is to get money to cater for myself and my noble mom and also to provide service to the people in my community.
The good news about this business thus food items business is that it fetches a lot when mostly everybody takes it as breakfast.
Thank you very zidisha for the first loan that was granted to me to buy the electric oven for my bakery work. It is really helping with the growth of the business. I would like to request this loan that will be used in paying the school fees of my girl child who is now entering the teacher training school. As the saying goes in Ghana if you educate a girl you educate a nation. Thank you.
