My name is Sharon Chepkirui, a mother of four and a living resident of Eldoret town, i went to school in the same town where i also got married. My husband is a teacher by profession. I went ti Kibirwo Primary school, joined Moi Girls Secondary school in Nangili.
I came to start selling Fish in Eldoret three years ago after i realized that the stalls selling fish within town is not sufficient for the entire town. This really moved me fourth to starting this business because the market was not so flooded.
Eldoret is unique because of the fact that it produces great runners in the world.
i sale fish in the Streets of Eldoret town and the market places. I rost or dip fry the fish then sale to people. This goods are unique and this increases its demand because the not everyone can have access to fish for sale, it is also important because with many people shifting from the red meat to the white meat, we are able to win many customers.
I use the profits that i make to educate my kids, support my family and also my mother who is aging back in the village.
I also give beck to the business by increasing my stock day in day out
Given a loan of 14 us dollars, i will use the money to construct a shade for selling and displaying my fish, this exercise requires 30 us dollars and granted a support of 14 us dollars, i will add the remaining 16 us dollars and carry out the construction.
I will benefit so much from the stand because my fish will be well displayed and also protected from the rays of the sun
