My Story
I a m Amponsah David Kwabena, A 28 year old married man, I am the second born of my late father. I come from Dormaa Ahenkro in the brong Ahafo region of Ghana My father left us seven years ago and since then i have been the bread winner of the nuclear family. I offered Bachelor of Science in Physics at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana .However I teach Physics at Methodist senior High School and Technical School. To be able to help my unemployed mother and family I am into a part-time taxi business .the business is making a lot of profit and there is the need to maintain and expand it
Business
In 2013, I bought a Car and converted to a taxi to run a taxi service after I close from school. I started by conveying people from rounding villages to the nearest town, Berekum I normally starts at 3:00pm and close around 11:00pm though I people wake me up to convey then to hospital in the night since there is no ambulance in the community . It serves as the ambulance for the community.
However due to bad road and need to move fast in times of emergencies my shocks absorbers, wind screen, and engine are weak and there is the need to replace them immediately. I need an amount of $2500 to maintain the taxi in other to continue the services I am delivering to my neighbors
How I repay the loan.
I earn some profit from the taxi business and also earn from the teaching profession. So I can generate the money and pay.
with the help of zidisha and lenders i have been able to bring my taxi back to the road . however the tires are not good enough to help me transport my customers. especially during the rainy season in my country the taxi normally slips in the muddy roads but i have no option than to help my deprived community. it is therefore agent to buy new tires to enable me work effectively. i therefore plead on all lenders to help me this time too.
