I do my own business in a the village called Kofiasua,a small town near Dormaa Ahenkro . My father was a poor farmer whose income was to small to go into cash crops. He grows cassava, pepper, plantain and so many tins for sale in Dormaa Ahenkro market. He hired a store for me to begin business, this because he told me he will not be able to afford University Education. After Senior High School he took me to a nearby bank ( WAMFIE RURAL BANK Ltd) and took a loan worth GHS3000 and cautioned me to work hard to repay the loan. Fortunately, things went well for me to pay the loan I sell Milo, milk, Fanta, coca-cola and so many tins. I work hard to let my children go to Senior high School to become useful to society.
I sell general goods like Tin Tomatoes, sugar, soaps. Kumasi has many goods at cheaper prices to earn more profits but because the only nearest place you could get these so quickly is Berekum. I once visited a shop in Suyani that sell goods like mine. I could not believe my eyes the sort of customers who hard queued to buy things from this very shop. It motivated me to go into this venture one day and that is what I am engaged in now.I make a minimum sales of ghc300 a day. I do not have any source of income therefore it the profit I make from the sale of these items that makes me earn a living to cater for my kids.
Itemised are things I will buy if my loan is funded, tin tomatoes, satchel water, baby diapers, perfume rice, sugar,Milk, Bathing and washing soap. Can Malt and can Coca-Cola. Exercise books, pens and pencils. In detail, below is a list.
Tin tomatoes(5 boxes)-$12.4
20 bags o Satchel water-$10.2
12 Sets of baby diapers -$16.1
15 bags of perfume rice-$19.5
8 bags of sugar -$11.6
6 boxes of milk-$12.2
Bathing and washing soap-$13.1
If these items should enter my shop for sale,I will see many customers and my sales for a day will change for me to earn more profits.I am therefore pleading with lenders to assist me grow my business.
