My name is Donnah Otema,I am from Angorom Teso South.I was born in a family,of 9,My father was a primary school teacher and passed on while i was in primary 6.After the death of my dad, life was very difficult, however my mom did all she can to ensure I got basic education.
I went to Angorom primary school, and later joined Chakol girls.I then went to Nyeri medical college where i trained as a nurse. From the college life become unbearable as i could not afford basic needs,I started farming as it was only the viable venture as that time, but this is a decision I will never regret,it is paying off.
I have one kid ,a baby boy,he is 4 years old and in baby class.he likes riding bicycle and wants to be a pilot in future.
I like reading novels, dancing and singing.
I am an upcoming commercial vegetable farmer and a nurse by profession.I provide my clients with healthy nutritious vegetables.
I choose this business because it was less capital intensive, and I also had land to practice farming.I looked for advice from youth officer who encouraged me to enroll for a course in vegetable production.
In a month I spend $50 ,my revenues are $200-$250,i always make between$150_$200 in profits.
I use my earnings to pay for my kid and siblings school fees.I also use the money to cater for general family expenses.
Dear sir /madam,I am requesting you to kindly help fund my loan,to enable me buy a knapsack sprayer for my farm.Currently I have been hiring from a neighbor and it is very costly and inconvenient. I will use the $100 to equip my farm with a brand new sprayer,I am so happy for your support. Thanks in advance
