My name is Korkor Millicent. I'm tall, black in compression,a Senior high school graduate. The food I like best is banku and Okra stew. My best hobby is swimming. My father, Kwasi Adu is a renowned cashew farmer. Mummy too is a petty trader. I m a hair dresser by profession and I have been into this job more than ten years. Dormaa Ahenkro is my home town but I lived most of my life in Asikasu, a village about ten kilometers from Dormaa Ahenkro. What prompted me to go into hair dressing is that, academically I was weak and in order to be able to read and write, I decided to complete Senior High School. Senior High School Education has actually helped me a lot in my hair dressing job.
My shop is always full of customers, I wash and dress their hairs into various styles. Some of my customers prefer pony styles whilst others will choose weave on and there are few who dress their wigs to put on to ceremonies. I love this job because it gives me daily bread and aid me to pay my children's school fees. I have worked years with this job and I think that it is the best job for me since I'm in control of my own job. No one controls me so I feel free to serve my customers. With three apprentices, my job becomes easier since they do most of the job taking basic instructions from me.
Different dishes are served in my restaurant, some are rice and beans stew, cooked plantain and stew, banku and okro stew. Konkonte and groundnut soup. Most people like eating from my restaurant because of the good taste I serve. I have promised myself to continuously serve in this form to keep my customers intact.
