About Me

I am a Graphic designer and fine artist based in Nairobi Kenya. I graduated from Kenya Polytechnic in the year 2002. I thank God for the great talent he gave me which i love and practice on a daily basis and which is also a source of income to me, I specialize in Portrait painting and drawing and also abstract painting. I also do general graphic design and printing services. I am a humble person who loves traveling, reading, drawing and playing rugby. My physical area of business is mainly Nairobi but i intend to expand to the larger Kenya and eventually Africa.

My Business

I am in the Art and design business, I mainly make paintings for Hotels and individuals and also for sale at galleries and curio shops in Nairobi and its environs, from this art works i generate quite some income through out the year but more during high tourist seasons. I also do Digital art i.e graphic design which i graduated from Kenya polytechnic with, this being the main source of income i do it on daily basis. i design artworks from thumbnail stages through comprehensive stage to the final artwork at a fee. and thereafter outsource the printing work to other places from which i also make a profit. i generate asn average of about USD300 monthly which i intend to grow with your support.

Loan Proposal

I would first of all thank all lenders for the first loan that really thrusted my business. This second loan if i get it will be fully used to purchase a desktop computer. Which will save me the pressure and expences of working from a cyber cafe'. My work especially designing is computer aided with programs such as as Photoshop, illustrator and coreldraw. A computer which can support this programs will cost me an estimate of $250. I have some savings of about 120$ that i will top up the loan to purchase the said computer of the following specifications. Dual core processor. 2 GB of R.A.M. and a hard disk of not less than 500 GB. With the purchase of this computer i will be saving an average of 30$ weekly which i normally pay as fees to cyber cafes for computer use. This is a substantial amount to save and will really help me grow. Thank you very much.

Hello Shem Omari, Sputnik wrote in forum that you wanna start to repay your loan.
Does your number for the disbursment still the same as before? If it still the same then you can start to repay it immediately, if it has changed then I suggest you make a support ticket first.
Login to your account-click your name- go to help page- there are options ticket there, choose technical. Inform them that you wanna change your number and attach your ID photo for Verification.
When Zidisha update your phone number, I think you can pay one installment first then adjust your payment to Zero then adjust your payment again to your choice. so the new schedule will be up to date to this year. Or, you can make support ticket and ask zidisha suggestion about your situation.
I really appreciate your intentions to clear your loan.
      Good luck

Whatever happened with his most recent loan? I was starting to get the impression that Shem had become deceased, however his public Facebook page is still getting updated (including with what looks like a political campaign for a municipal government seat from last year), and in the meantime no payments have been made since the loan was first disbursed almost three years ago. What's going on?
