My name is Elizabeth Frimpong. I am married and a mother of five (5). I am 46 years old and the third born of my parents. I did went to school but i dropped out along the line to engage myself in trading. It was not easy beginning with it but I have really made a head way and eventually ended me in my current marriage . I am dark in complexion and weigh about 87kg. I love cooking and hanging around with my family when I am not working. It has been my dream to achieve the best for my family and for my children who are all performing better in school. They have big dreams and I am doing all effort within my power to make sure my children can achieve a lot and far more than what I could not do. This is the main reason why I am working so hard. I wish to take them where they can go and do better for themselves and for the family and the community as a whole.
I have been in business for the past five years mainly cultivating and selling maize. Maize is used for my many food stuffs in my town and as such it is very attractive at the market. Some use it for making banku (a local dish), some for porridge and some mash it and sell them in a can popularly known as "Ice Kenkey". I have invested much in this business but i wish to do more to support myself and family and eventually contribute in providing food for the whole community.I have been selling mostly in the town but i wish to spread my wings and do more at mostly the villages where they need my maize most. I need this support to be able to support my family and children in school
I will need about $130 to increase my production in maize crops so that i can increase its distribution too . I need this loan to buy maize sacks and other for transportation to and fro the villages to ensure that the customers gets enough satisfaction and on time delivery. Maize is indispensable in our daily lives when it comes to feeding ourselves ;it is needed and used on daily basis. This will make it easy to pay the loan back since the market is there. Thank you
