About Me

My name is Hannah Afriyie. I was born on the 14th March, 1989. I come from Yamfo closer to Abesim capital. I am still single woman looking for a husband to love. I speak English language fluently and also my local dialet. When God is willing and i get good husband and marry, it is my aspiration to educate my children to the Highest level to enable them to become good citizens in future.

My Business

Dear lenders, my first loan that I collected was used to sell soft drinks of different kinds but now, I have decided to enter into a new business which is more lucrative than the previous one. This new business is maize farming. I was advised by a colleague who is already into that business. There is readily available market for it. That is you can sell at fresh state And also sell the grains when dried. I am certain if I am able to succeed , I Wii l make more profit in the end and make life comfortable. Please lenders, the projected cost of the project are:
Cost of improved seeds=$ 50
Herbicides=$ 40
Transportation=$20
Labourers =$ 100

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders, as I have already stated , I am now into farming , maize farming to be specific. My aim of entering into maize farming is that, there is readily available market for it. Ghana government buys the grains and supply to educationl institutions so the possibility of post harvest lost is not there. I will therefore use the loan to purchase improved seeds, fertilizer s, herbicides etc to improve my production . The details are
Cost of improved seeds=$50
Herbicides=$40
Labour work $100
Fertilizer=$10
Thank you lenders.

    Your lenders are waiting to be repaid Hanna. We cannot make loans and give opportunities to others if we are not paid back. Please resume making payments on your Zidisha loan.

    Hello Maria, members loan fund is an optional amount paid into ones zidisha account which is used for reimbursing lenders in the event of default. It also enables the borrower to get higher credits limit in subsequent loan. Borrowers are told it is refundable when aborrower decides to close his or her account with zidisha provided the loan has been paid fully.

    Dear Hanna, why are you now applying for so much more money after several attempts at lower loans weren't funded? I am just wondering whether this is the best strategy, and what exactly you will use these higher funds for?

      Thank you maria for the concern raised. I taught may be, my member loan fund is not much that is why my loan always expire without fully funded. If this loan is funded, meaning I will pay more into my member loan funds.

    Here is a good explination as to why loans are not getting funded as quickly as they had been Hanna. www.zidisha.org/forum-threa... . I will save the funds I had for you for your new loan application.

    Hanna- if your loan doesn’t fund this time either, try again, as it gets closer to Christmas more people will be lending. Good luck!

    Dear Hanna, I don't know why your loan is expiring. You need more lenders than Paul and me. Maybe post some more pictures of you and your farming? You could also ask your volunteer mentor what could be done?
