About Me

I am coming from a humble family. My mother being the second wife of my father (both late). Most decisions my father made about my family were obviously second hand. It was a challenge for us to go to school because we had to choose between education and food. My 3 sisters only went as far as attaining basic level of education. Am the only one who completed secondary education with the help of mostly friends and neighbors making me a bread winner of our small family. I started the current business when I was fired from employment at Spar Arcades Supermarket in 2009, this was due to an illegal protest we made. I first started by selling air time scratch cards and later started buying old modeled computers with the hope of starting a big business some day. I later transformed to a Business Centre in August 2011 with 2 old computers and a printer. I now have an Internet Café and people attribute these achievements to being hard working coupled with having a vision with consistency. End of my brief story.

My Business

My business has been running for the past 4 years without stoppage or closures due to the grate importance we attach to work. First of all I believe our business is a force to reckone with in the area. We have great competition from our friends who both started before us and those who are new into the system but we enjoy this competition because it gives us an impetus to think big and bring in new ideas which others did not think about. A practical thing we have done is to bring internet to the area for the first time in the history of the compound we live in. We also offer good services and have creative staff who design fliers, company logo and other important company invesions. Our business is growing at a fast pace such that we have even found ourselves with less machinery or equipment to execute our duties well. For instance we only have 3 computers for our internet cafe and if they are all occupied, others always have options to go elsewhere for the service. We really need financial income to grow.

Loan Proposal

I want to buy a LaserJet Colored printer which could help in the executing of our day to day running of the business. At the cafe we also design and print Business Cards, Invitation Cards and other company profiles which must be printed in color. With this at our disposal, we may make enough money to enable us buy 1 or 2 more computers for our shop.
