I am a third borne in a family of five from a rural village in kenya. i schooled in a local school before going to a high school and then Moi University. My dad was a taxi driver and my mum a house wife. It wasn't easier for my parents to provide for us but they really featured well when it was issues to with education.
In university i was an adult and i used to sell airtime and eggs to supplement my subsistence. in my second year i got training as a driver and todate that is what puts food on my table. After college i was employed with a local bank then four years down the line got an appointment to the local government, what we call a county in our country. The recruitment process had issues and in 2013 i lost the job and i would not go back to the bank. since then i have been a truck driver till 2016 when i decided to go back to class and do my masters.
I am a student doing my masters and I have had this flair of having a barber shop that is standard. I have identified a location and i have some cash to rent the premises. All i need are funds to start it off and i may not start making profits instantly and that is why i am in need of financial help.
I have one wife and one son aged 4 years. my wife is a graduate too and jobless. my son likes traveling which i love too and even the mother. I do academic writing in my free time and during weekends i do my thing, driving. Having a barber shop will get myself busy alongside my class work as well as income to raise my family because i am staying in the city with my nuclear family while extended family is in the village. the truck belongs to the family
I have a barber shop in the estate being managed by my wife, at the moment i am contracted by a local institute to develop online training manuals for them. i want to use my next loan to equip my barber shop by upgrading it. It is a simple investment that shaves people as well as blow-dry services. It's my prayer that am at a position to restock my shop during this festive season to be able to tackle the hurdles of January
With my last loan i was able to purchase a television set after adding some money and it has kept my business improve. Wazee's frequent the place to watch news and have a shave improving my customer base. I would like next to restock the shop with a drier machine and a blow dry machine and other equipments for shaving ahead of the festive season.
