About Me

I am a third borne in a family of five from a rural village in kenya. i schooled in a local school before going to a high school and then Moi University. My dad was a taxi driver and my mum a house wife. It wasn't easier for my parents to provide for us but they really featured well when it was issues to with education.
In university i was an adult and i used to sell airtime and eggs to supplement my subsistence. in my second year i got training as a driver and todate that is what puts food on my table. After college i was employed with a local bank then four years down the line got an appointment to the local government, what we call a county in our country. The recruitment process had issues and in 2013 i lost the job and i would not go back to the bank. since then i have been a truck driver till 2016 when i decided to go back to class and do my masters.
I am a student doing my masters and I have had this flair of having a barber shop that is standard. I have identified a location and i have some cash to rent the premises. All i need are funds to start it off and i may not start making profits instantly and that is why i am in need of financial help.
I have one wife and one son aged 4 years. my wife is a graduate too and jobless. my son likes traveling which i love too and even the mother. I do academic writing in my free time and during weekends i do my thing, driving. Having a barber shop will get myself busy alongside my class work as well as income to raise my family because i am staying in the city with my nuclear family while extended family is in the village. the truck belongs to the family

My Business

I have a barber shop in the estate being managed by my wife, at the moment i am contracted by a local institute to develop online training manuals for them. i want to use my next loan to equip my barber shop by upgrading it. It is a simple investment that shaves people as well as blow-dry services. It's my prayer that am at a position to restock my shop during this festive season to be able to tackle the hurdles of January

Loan Proposal

I am looking forward to adding more value to my barber shop. I want to buy a good sound system as well as a television set to serve those who are waiting for services. I also intend to start buying one newspaper daily so that my customers can be entertained as well as be brought to speed on what is happening in the global arena. It is likely to increase the number of clients who visit the premises, the guy who is working for me will feel motivated by the development and if business is good I may add one more member. As at now I get about Kes 500 daily, I just want a 20% increase from the same by retaining my customers as well as attracting some. Motivating the guy who works in the premises will go a long way in his delivery of services which is likely to attract more customers.
