am a fifth born in a family of eight and did manage to sit for my form four exams due to lack of school fees. i therefore decided to start small scale farming whereby i grew sukumawiki (kale's) and sold them to my neighbors. I soon realized the demand was higher than anticipated and that's is when I decided to expand my farm so that I can serve more customers.
my first born child wants to be a doctor when he grows up and my second born child wants to be a nurse.
I love soccer and watch soccer with my friends during my free time.
I sell vegetables such as kales and recently incorporated traditional African vegetables to my clients. the demand for these goods is high due to large non farming population and unfavorable weather for growing vegetables.
I choose these business because ,it was easy to start and manage and required little capital compared to other ventures.
my monthly typical costs $100 for seeds and labor while my monthly income is $200 .I use proceeds from the business to pay school fees for my siblings and take care of my old parents and family.
I thank zidisha lenders and team for the good work.I am kindly asking for a loan to help me buy a foot pump for irrigation .I need to irrigate my crops so that I am able to sell during dry seasons when vegetables are always scarce but attract good prices. thank you in advance.
