About Me

I'm a 29 year old young man from Kiambu, a Christian, and digital marketer. I'm also a qualified electrician and machine technician. My primary work is with foreign agencies and companies where I provide content marketing services to their websites and social media pages.

I was born in Limuru but I've mostly lived in Nairobi, Ngong, and Kiambu town. Being from a poor family, I had to learn to fend for myself from a young age. I attended Starehe Boy's Center and started a photography business with an old Yashica film camera.

I joined KU to pursue an engineering course, but I'm yet to graduate. I work electrical installation contracts when I get them.

I'm an aspiring dad, and I'm sure my kids will want to do technical courses just like me, but probably in electronics or software development. One of my favorite hobbies is fixing broken electronics, I absolutely love the process of troubleshooting, looking up repair instructions, checking out circuits, and tinkering with stuff until I get it working again. That's in my blood.

The tinkering part of me loves digital marketing because we get to try different strategies and see what works. Data is a big part of it, and I like working with data and math.

My Business

I'm currently starting my own website called ellife. It will be about providing electrical and technical advice and recommendations, primarily focused on the local market. I believe there is a lot of untapped potential in that sector.

The site just went into development, but I need funds to pay for the development so I can start publishing content.

Once I build up the traffic to around 5k visits a month, I'll be able to monetize the traffic, but the most income will come from affiliate marketing by partnering with companies that sell electronics and related services.

Project Proposal

I and my family are trying to give our parents a leg up with a small irrigation project. Basically we want to repair an existing underground water tank so that it can store water that can be used for irrigation during the dry season. the tank has a capacity for 95,000 ltrs, and we also have two more plastic tanks with a capacity of 5k litres each.
We need to buy a small submersible pump to deliver water from the underground tank to the others.
the reason I'm asking for such a small amount while the project is big is that we've already started the project and I'm a little short on cash. While I wait for my regular source of income, we need to keep this going.
