Shadrack Mwaba is my name. Am a Zambian young man and I hold green national registration card. Am a Zambian citizen by birth. I live in Konkola township of Chililabombwe. I have 3 children and am married to Maureen. I went to Lubengele primary school and I completed my secondary at St. Paul's Secondary School . Coming from a humble background was not easy for me because of I had life challenges here and there until I made through had work at school and in my business. Iam an entrepreneur and am involved in selling of fresh vegetables which I grow in my vegetable gardens and some maize crop. Am looking for financial empowerment through Zidisha loan for buy buying fertilizer, gardening tools and some pesticides to help me in the development of the crops.
Growing of crops is the main business which I do on daily basis and it is the major source of income and livelihood. I started this business 5 years ago after seeing how profitable and sustainable it is to me. I have been passionate because I earn good income. This time now crop production in Zambia is proving to be very good business and source of food security in Zambia. Most marketers buy from me on wholesale price and resale it on retail price. Currently demand is growing especially onions, tomatoes because this time it is in low supply hence I need more farming inputs to help me grow more crops for sale as this will help me to generate more money and expand the business.
With the funds am asking for I need to buy irrigation pipes, horse pipes, watering canes, pesticides and fertilizer to help me in the development if my vegetable gardens so that I can a very good vegetable production for sale and in return make more profits in my business.
